Plymouth Christmas Market 2016

The city centre Piazza will be completely transformed as the Christmas Market sets out more than 50 beautiful log cabin style stalls trading from 1 to 18 December. The stalls, selling unique hand-crafted gifts from the South West and further afield, will be festooned in fairy lights offering warming drinks, a Bavarian bar with heated seats, and festive food to keep visitors going – perfect for those chilly, late night shopping trips. Real Christmas Trees from Rise of the Garden will be available to buy and can be delivered to your car at Theatre Royal car park or by a special home delivery. Visitors to the market will be able to enjoy an array of local produce to sample or to pick up that unique Christmas gift for that special someone.

The Barbican Christmas 2016

On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November, the Waterfront Christmas Celebrations will be taking place on The Barbican and Sutton Harbour from 12 - 5pm over both days. On the 20 November, Santa will arrive in the city on the RNLI Lifeboat at the Mayflower Steps around 3.45pm. Come along and help him to switch on The Barbican an Bretonside Christmas Lights. Meet Santa's Reindeer, see the sleigh and sing along with the Christmas Carols.

Plymouth Nutcracker Trail 2016

Santa has been busy touring Plymouth getting lots of toys for all the boys and girls this Christmas. On his travels he has left behind 20 Nutcrackers who have been told to find out what presents children are asking for. Each Nutcracker has a name, simply tour the city centre with your Nutcracker Trail booklet and write down all of their names and you could win one of the 12 iPAD Mini's that Santa left with Plymouth City Bus for us to give away.

Plymouth Christmas Market 2016

Plymouth's Christmas Market returns to the heart of Plymouth City Centre, 1 - 18 December and will see over 50 stalls in the style of traditional pretty log cabins selling the best arts, crafts and foods from around the South West. New for this year there is Bavarian style bar with heated seating area where you will be able to sit and soak in the atmosphere. Also new for this year and in the heart of the market we have a large marquee which will be host to a selection of entertainment in the form of choirs and singers performing all your favourite Christmas songs Thursday – Sunday every week.
